Tracing Debtors

Rather than write off debts because the student has gone to ground, or moved abroad, LRC can instigate actions to find them and apply suitable measures to recover the outstanding debt.

We can instigate an initial trace, then, if this proves unsuccessful, a more extensive secondary search. We offer both these searches on a no trace no fee basis, before we proceed to a third and more comprehensive trace, where charges will apply should the search prove negative.

LRC also offer an Employment Trace, or combined Trace and Employment.

Please note: we offer this Trace Service as an addition to our regular services. should you wish to instruct LRC on a Trace only basis, there may be a minimum charge of £5.00 payable, should the initial and secondary searches prove unsuccessful.

For clients who regularly submit Pre and Post Legal cases to us, we do not charge for negative results (on Initial & Secondary traces only).

As with all the services offered by LRC, any work we undertake and results we achieve, can be viewed by you on a case by case basis, anytime, anywhere, via our online Debt Recovery System.
