Legal Recoveries & Collections (LRC) Limited, were formed in July 2002 following a management buy-out of the commercial debt recovery arm of one of the worlds largest business law firms.

Today we manage debt on behalf of a wide range of clients; many of them large household names within the financial, utility, telecoms,manufacturing & distribution and more recently the leisure sector, helping clients collect debt that in many cases has caused their businesses to suffer severe financial setbacks resulting in a suspension of services or even closure.

But it’s not just the larger companies and institutions that we help; LRC also have an alliance with Barclays Bank via their ‘Clearlybusiness’ web site (www.clearlybusiness.com), a site designed to offer business solutions (including debt recovery) to over 235,000 small - medium sized businesses. On behalf of Barclays Bank and the Clearlybusiness website, we manage anything from the occasional one-off instruction, to clients with hundreds of cases each month

We specialise in solutions for number of Colleges, Universities and Foreign Learning Schools throughout the UK. Many of the solutions we offer our education clients have been especially adapted from proven formulas used within the above industries. Although the principles of debt collection remain unchanged, whoever the client or whatever the industry, it’s the manner in which you instigate them that makes the difference.

We understand the pressures facing both the student and the college or University and we realise cases such as these need handling in a completely different manner as to the way in which debts are collected from other industries. Yes we’re firm, but we’re also sympathetic to the needs of the school and the predicament of the student.
